Italian mystical dark death metal destroyers Hadit return after a deafening six years of silence with their long awaited debut album “With Joy and Ardour Through the Incommensurable Path”, an obfuscating extreme metal calamity that is set to bring a new meaning and dimension to the otherworldly cosmological death metal darkness that the band has been known for ever since their daunting “Introspective Contemplation of the Microcosmus” tape EP was released in 2015 via Caligari Records.

Inspired by occult and mystical literature and philosophy coming from works by Crowley and Lovecraft among others (“Hadit” was the name of a mysterious Thelemic deity appearing in Aleister Crowley’s The “Book of the Law”), as well as from the darkest and most deviant passages found in ancient monotheistic doctrines and theology, on “With Joy and Ardour Through the Incommensurable Path” Hadit have plumbed the darkest depths of inverted death metal ritualism to distill its primordial order from chaos and unlock passageways to a higher dimension in which supernatural dark forces and cryptic mystical axioms define inaccessible truths on mankind’s true nature and existence. With death metal ritualized and used almost as a rite of passage to a higher order, concepts pertaining to time, cyclicality, fatality, and of death as the true engine and motivator for life are thus unearthed through submission to the symbolism of chaos to access the higher knowledge and order which comes through it.

Sonically annihilating and aesthetically implacable, “With Joy and Ardour Through the Incommensurable Path” is an impenetrable and baneful death metal hallucination shrouded in mysticism and distilled from the primeval chaos and pestilence conceptualized by founding forebears of dark death and black metal entities like Inquisition, Incantation, Morbid Angel, Immolation, and Black Witichery, as well as from contemporary extreme metal metal chaos and darkness-worshippers like Grave Miasma, Archgoat, and Dead Congregation – a ritualized submission to aural dark forces where complete chaos and ruin become a form of order, discipline, balance and force to harness a higher level of self, knowledge and truth.

PYRE OF DESCENT ‘Peaks Of Eternal Light’ Digipack CD / Gatefold LP

TFH Records is proud to announce the first release of 2020: Pyre of Descent “Peaks Of Eternal Light” will see the light of the dark on 24th February.

After a very promising debut demo released in March 2018, this Berlin-based obscure combo returns with a 4 songs ep “Peaks Of Eternal Light”, featuring 31 minutes of enigmatic grace paired with sorrowful tension.
Hypnotic mellow arpeggios, beautiful solos, rough as well melancholic vocals and minimalist yet effective drumming is what this ep is made up of.
The band musically stands in a league of their own and has been able to put together a record which span and instill a good range of emotions.
Pyre of Descent’s music is a mysterious journey in the soul’s inmost part that will makes you feel you’re walking on a desolate land surrounded by the thickest fog you’ve ever seen.
